With social distancing in place, I’m not likely to get up to the Lake District or indeed anywhere else for the foreseeable future. I hope to get a few new articles up on this website over the coming weeks, and I’m also trying something a little different over on my Instagram page. Over the next week or so I’ll be posting an A to Z of pictures of lovely places I’ve visited. Yesterday I started with one of my favourite views, the sunset from the cliff-top at Afionas in Corfu. Afionas is a gorgeous little village perched high above Agios Georgios Bay in the north-west of Corfu, and the sunset vista is extraordinary.
