Back in September, I made a flying visit to Cork - in both the literal and metaphorical sense. My first stop was the parkrun at Ballincollig Regional Park, followed by a more relaxing few hours on the Cobh waterfront.

With lockdown still in force, there’s no chance of getting to the Lake District before mid-April at the earliest. So I sought out the Lakes closer to home - specifically, the streets and buildings near to my home in Walkden and Little Hulton that are named after places in the Lake District.
